Tête en Fleur presents a human figure whose head opens into a delicate flower. The petals and filaments unfold like an inner blooming, transforming the silhouette into a space where thought and vegetation merge together. The work explores themes of metamorphosis, inner growth, and the relationship between the human body and the natural world. Balancing figuration and abstraction, the composition develops through texture, contrast, and woven materiality. The tapestry is woven in jacquard using recycled cotton from an original watercolor drawing. Each piece requires extensive preparation and weaving time, translating the image thread by thread into textile form.
